Dongdaemun Gu Female Choir
Welcome to Dongdaemun-gu
Introduction
Established in March 1992 by housewives who love singing, Dongdaemun Local Female Choir was elevated to Dongdaemun-gu Female Choir on November 27th, 2000, and its 30 members led by Conductor Park Jung-su and Pianist Hwang Sun-mi carry out consistent music activities to help spread choir songs and purification of minds of gu (district) citizens. Having a sense of belonging and pride, Dongdaemun-gu Female Choir will continue to nurture the gu (district) citizens’ minds and emotions and participate in internal and external culture festivals to fulfill its purpose of unifying and harmonizing the people.
