Oriental Juniper at Seonnongdan Natural Treasure No. 240
The oriental juniper at Seonnongdan is 10 meters in height and 2 meters in circumference. It is one of the largest and oldest juniper trees in Korea. Unlike other junipers that tend to bend sideways as they grow, this juniper tree rises straightforward toward the sky. Although the exact age of the tree cannot be known, it is thought to have been planted when Seonnongdan was being built during the early days of Joseon.
